How long does the eviction process
take in Texas? Well, that really depends.
It really depends upon your tenant and
what your tenant does or doesn't do.
So from your notice to the
actual hearing at the JP court,
you want to plan somewhere
between four weeks or so, four to five
weeks. The entire process depends upon
whether the tenant appeals. Worst-case
scenario, yeah, it can take a few months,
but generally, that's not the case.
Generally, we see the tenants taking
appropriate steps right around that
hearing date just before or just after to
get out of your property.
